HedgeFund.net(HFN) tracks 40 hedge funds which invest in Indian securities.

Few snapshots of India Focus Fund:

  1. Total assets size of  India focus fund  exceeded $9.5 billion at the end of August 2010.
  2. Average assets size of Indian hedge funds is the smallest among any group.
  3. London is the preferred location for operation of these funds.
  4. Asset levels peaked at the end of 2007 at an estimated $18.74 billion
  5. India focused funds are among the better performing hedge fund groups in 2010 and outperforms SENSEX in this period
