BANGALORE: Kotak Investment Banking, a subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, announced the appointment of Ms. Shefali Shah as Senior Executive Director.
Shefali will head the Financial Sponsors Group (FSG) where she will spearhead transactions involving leading private equity and hedge funds. Shefali will also oversee a number of large client relationships in the Automobiles & Auto Components, Engineering and Industrials sectors.
Shefali has over 23 years of experience in investment banking and management consulting. Prior to joining Kotak, Shefali was with Rabo India Finance, where she headed the M&A division. She has also previously worked with BNP Paribas as Country Head – Investment Banking and Ernst & Young in their Corporate Advisory Services team.
